Cock of the Walk aka Best of the Best
The shoe phone has been ringing off the foot! Everyone wants to know more about “The Cock of the Walk” and how this illustrious title will be awarded.
As per our previous Player of the Series comps we have used a multiplying factor based on ITM finishing position, buy-in level and the number of entrants.
All MGA players are eligible to win the Cock of the Walk, or, Best of the Best, trophy and title. There will be a separate, optional buy-in of $600 per player toward a cash prize. Depending on the number of entries to this pool will determine the places paid.
IMPORTANT NOTES aka “The fine print”
Place fixing is not in the spirit of any competition and will not be tolerated. If, in the opinion of the tournament director, players are engaging in behaviour that brings the game integrity into question, amongst other possible remedies, including disqualification, points will be adjusted where players receive equal lowest points available. E.g. if the TD feels the top three players are place fixing in his/her absolute opinion then equal 3rd place points will be awarded to all three players.
Play fair and play for the win. There is no honour in buying yourself this trophy.
