I’ve been playing poker for over 15 years. After meeting Shannon roughly six years ago, he introduced me to the mixed game scene. Since then, the mixed games have started to grow more and more. I believe that introducing the Mixed Games Academy will only grow the games I know and love. After reading the game mix and looking over the structures I feel the Mixed Games Academy is the future of mixed games in Australia – I can’t wait to see this grow.

Mixed games in Australia have historically had a relatively small following with little growth in comparison to NLH. With the launch of the Mixed Games Academy (commencing January 2023) it’s our intention to provide quality mixed game tournaments while simultaneously increasing player interest.
