Event 1 con’t – T.H.E.R.O.S

Event 1 for the MGA Sydney Autumn championships has been run and won by none other than Graeme “Reaper” Bennett.

Graeme came into the final table fourth in chips and positioned right between two Aussie hall of famers Gary Benson and Grant Levy. Self confessing his weakest games were the stud variants he kept away from the strongest players during these rotations while building a very healthy stack through the THO rounds. 

With four players remaining Graeme held more than 70% of chips in play – and following a couple of quick eliminations he was heads up for the title against MGA H.E.R.O.S. Champion from Eatons Hill in January, Joan Allen.

In the end the trophy and title would be decided in Limit Holdem where Graeme turned the straight flush, all the money went in and it was all over!

3rd – Grant Levy $1,080

4th – Leigh Rolfe $810
