It’s time to get back in the Mix!

The MGA Summer Mix of Poker will kick off with the inaugural MGA Ambrose Golf Day on Wednesday 15th January at the beautiful Wantima Golf Course, get your booking in early for this one, places are limited.

Then, on Thursday 16th January, let the games begin!

We are bringing 11 trophied events plus some other nightly turbo games for your enjoyment together with “pop up” tourneys on demand for those at a loss of what to do between tournaments after you stop talking to yourself!

Plenty of action, so much mixed, lots of fun to be had!

Some changes I can share with you now:

• We were not expecting such a massive turnout last time and needed to run several Day 2 FT’s – scheduling has been reviewed so this isn’t likely to be an issue.
• Player feedback on mixes, games and buy-ins has been taken seriously and we think we have a schedule to suit all tastes from those starting out looking to get in the mix right through to the Wizards wanting to take it to the streets.
• Our “Blind Rewind” was well received, and we will be continuing with this Australian first concept, however it will only apply to certain games to ensure one day games (starting later in the day) are in fact finishing within the day. More info on this when we release the schedule. 
• Game day will start from 11am on all days. This ensures you have enough morning time for sleep, gym and food. It also allows us to schedule well structured events that will finish at very reasonable hours. 
• Start stacks revised to give more play at max late rego times

We had over $115k in prize pools and 245 entries across 6 events at our first series. The estimate for this series is 750 entries over 5 days with a prize pool over $300k across 11 trophied events!

This is going to be huge, mammoth, massive, insert other synonyms for large right here.
