This is the official “welcome to the octagon” event. Eight games. No hiding. No autopilot. Just pure mixed-game vibes.

If you’ve ever said, “I’m pretty good at poker”, this is where you find out whether that was confidence or fiction. 😌

What you need to know (without the boring bits)

What is HORSE?

A classic rotation of five games: Hold’em, Omaha Hi/Lo, Razz, Stud, Stud Hi/Lo.
It rewards the full toolkit: patience, hand reading, discipline, and the ability to not emotionally explode when your monster hand gets politely dissolved by a low.

What is an 8-game rotation?

It’s the mixed-game gym session. More variety, more decisions, more edge for players who actually study. Also, it’s way more fun than pretending you “didn’t mean to” three-bet the button for the fifth time in a row. It’s the fun of H.O.R.S.E. plus some lowball action from 2-7 Triple Draw mixed with some boring bits (gotta get the NLH players somehow) so we spice things up with NLH & PLO at the end of the rotation.

Our “Player of the Series” race runs through the entire festival. Show up, play multiple events, ladder points, chase glory, and earn the right to be absolutely unbearable in the best possible way.
