MGA Masters April 2025 – It’s a wrap!
The Mixed Games Masters for 2025 is a wrap! We ran 13 events, gave away over $185,000 in prize pools and had a total of 315 entries battling it out in the mixed games streets!
Our buy-ins for this event ranged from $250 through to $2,500 with the Main event sitting around the middle of this at $1,500. We ran single discipline tournaments right through to a 25 game dealer’s choice event. Showcasing over 30 poker variants across the series, MGA is unmatched in the spread of games we dare to play!

As always, running along side the events is our “Cock of the Walk” competition where points are allocated to ITM (In the money) finishers for each event. There is often a ‘side bet’ between quite a few of the players where they ante up $600 each creating a separate prize pool for the top points earners. This series was no exception, we had 9 punters back themselves as the ‘best of the best’ seeing a $5,400 pool to be split between the top 2 finishers. In the end Jarryd Godena locked up the 1st place prize after Event 12, leaving the race on for 2nd position. The last event (HORSE) would see Matt Ginn make a deep run, securing 2nd in the event and 2nd overall in the Cock of the Walk.
At HQ we are constantly looking for areas to tweak and improve, with that in mind I am pleased to announce that our Cock of the Walk competition will be extended to decide on the “Player of the Year” with all points accumulated from four series in 2025 to put players in contention for a Main Event seat at our Summer Poker series to be held early 2026 (more than likely January), absolutely free, along with a merch pack! That’s right, free stuff!
We have almost finished the schedule for our Winter series being held July 31 to August 4 and we are mixing it up! Revamped mixes, specialised rotations, adjusted buy-ins and late reg options as well as some tweaks to our very popular nightly turbo games! Watch this space for more info coming very soon!
